As of July 2006 the wool of this critter sold direct from the producer at $285/pound. Cashmere goes for $32/pound.
I have no idea how legal it is to publish this photo, but here's a link to where I found it. If you don't subscribe to National Geographic you should consider it. It's been the best magazine out there for a few decades now.
